Now that the pub­lic com­ment period of the Six Flags LCI study is over, all the input received will be analyzed.

The con­sul­tants respon­si­ble for this part of the LCI process ( Stan­tec /​ Street Smarts ) will then cre­ate the mas­ter plan that will be brought before the Cobb Board of Com­mis­sion­ers for their con­sid­er­a­tion.

Gwinnett’s devel­op­ment plan

Street Smarts is based in Gwin­nett County and has taken a lead­er­ship role in the devel­op­ment of that county over the years as a pri­mary stake­holder in Part­ner­ship Gwin­nett, an ini­tia­tive of the Gwin­nett Cham­ber of Com­merce.

The mas­ter plan that has gov­erned Gwinnett’s evo­lu­tion and the devel­op­ment of Gwin­nett Place mall was the result of a study com­mis­sioned by the Gwin­nett Cham­ber of Com­merce which was per­formed by Mar­ket Street Ser­vices, Inc.

The firm also has been involved in Cobb plan­ning for over a decade.

Cur­rently, Cobb’s Board of Com­mis­sion­ers are await­ing the results of a Mar­ket Street study to set eco­nomic devel­op­ment policy.
